In my first Folly Beach post, I shared our food and drinks. In this one, some selfies, toes in the sand, and outfits. We only had three full days at the beach, so we spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and watching the ocean.
Do I look excited? I should! This is as I was pulling out of my driveway headed to pick up Mom for the beach! Happy Day! Easy outfit for traveling? Shorts and a tshirt. In pink no doubt. I tried to make packing a bit easier by sticking with pink, white, grey, and black for the majority of my clothes.
Quick clothes change when we got to the hotel and we headed straight for the beach! The wind blown look was definitely the look of the day the first couple of days. But who cares when you are at the beach?
Feet in the ocean! Felt so good (and cold)!
Tried to use my new Hippie Runner headbands, but decided instead . . .
to pull my hair back and keep the bangs out.
This was my view each day. Chair at the pool looking out over the ocean. Getting up super early has its benefits at the beach – you get the exact pool chairs you want each day.
Don’t you love my pink camera strap? My final post about the beach will be some of the photos I took with my new Nikon D5300.
After 6+ hours of sun, I needed to be indoors. Resting and reading on my Kindle. The Kindle paperwhites are a must for the beach. No matter the sun glare, you can easily read without straining your eyes.
This is a new beach dress I bought on Amazon. I wish I had gotten a full-length photo for you. It is super comfortable and perfect for the beach/summer. Its short – mid-thigh.
I wish I had this view every day! Note my pink beach towel as well.
And a pink beach coverup!
Fun outfit for dinner at the beach! The tank top is new from Old Navy. I just couldn’t resist it!
Pretty good hair day for the beach and hard to tell I had a massive hives flareup while I was there.
My new maxi dress from Old Navy. Perfect with my sparkly sandals AND I didn’t trip and fall.
Mother/daughter photo – without sunglasses . . .
. . . with sunglasses!
This was the view from our balcony behind me. Maxi dress without the denim vest.
Maxi dress with the denim vest. I wound up wearing it without the vest.
Toes in the sand my last night there.
Do I look tired and sad? This was me right before we left the beach! Until next year Folly Beach!
Cheers!
