You’ve searched for your own services on Google and found your competitors staring back at you. That’s a visibility problem — and it’s fixable.
If you’re running a local business in Knoxville or anywhere in East Tennessee, search engine optimization is how you change that. With 15 years of real client data across hundreds of small businesses, I know what works and what doesn’t. And in 2026, SEO isn’t just about Google anymore. The businesses showing up in AI tools and across search engines all have one thing in common: they did the foundational work first. If you never get started, you’ll be in the same place 6 months from now.
I’m a UT Vols alum and a Knoxville local. I know this area, and I know what East Tennessee business owners are up against. I know how to get you visible to the customers who are already searching for the services you provide.

What 10 Years of Consistent SEO Actually Looks Like
I’ve worked with one East Tennessee distributor/manufacturer since March 2016 — over 10 years. It started with a website and SEO. It grew into managing a new website, running Google Ads, helping launch their online ordering process, and supporting an entire marketing department that expanded from part-time to multiple full-time people. They’ve added new product lines, new shifts, and new staff.
The owner and the entire team understand where their business is coming from. It’s organic. SEO didn’t just get them more traffic — it gave them the confidence to invest in trade shows, expand their team, and grow in ways they couldn’t have without a steady stream of inbound leads already in place.
That’s what a long-term commitment to SEO actually does for a local business. It compounds. And it doesn’t happen overnight — but when it does, it changes everything.
When Will You Start Seeing Results?
Knoxville is a competitive market. Whether you’re a chiropractor off Kingston Pike, a contractor serving West Knoxville, or an industrial supplier working the corridor up to Oak Ridge — your competitors are online, and some of them have a head start. The good news is that consistent SEO compounds over time, and starting now puts you ahead of every business that keeps waiting.
Here’s what to expect: most clients start seeing movement in the first 90 days. Not overnight, but real measurable progress — pages climbing, traffic ticking up, the right people finding you. The most significant growth happens between 6 and 12 months, and it keeps building from there. You’ll get a monthly report from me at the first of every month so you always know exactly where things stand.
Here’s How It Works
Every engagement starts with a conversation. You book a free 15-minute discovery call or fill out a short form, and I take a look at your site, your market, and where the gaps are. From there I put together a custom proposal — no guessing, no cookie-cutter packages, just exactly what your business needs.
Once you review the proposal and give me the go-ahead, I send an invoice and a short onboarding form. From there I get to work — keyword research specific to your local market, a full review of your Google Analytics and Google Search Console data (and setup if those aren’t in place yet), image optimization, and content recommendations tailored to what Knoxville-area customers are actually searching for. Most of this work is technical and behind the scenes. Your customers won’t see it. Google will.
Pricing starts at $500/month with a minimum 90-day commitment. Some projects are a flat rate depending on site size. Either way, your proposal will spell out exactly what’s included before you spend a dime.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this for? Local businesses in Knoxville and across East Tennessee that rely on customers finding them online. If you’re a chiropractor, a contractor, a manufacturer, an industrial supplier, or any other local service business — and people are searching for what you do — you should be showing up. That’s the whole point.
Who is this not for? Business owners who need the phone to ring by Friday. SEO is not a fast strategy, and I won’t pretend otherwise. If you need immediate leads, Google Ads is a better fit and I offer that too. But if you want sustainable, compounding organic traffic over time, this is how you get it. You just have to be willing to give it time.
Do you work with my website platform? Yes — WordPress, Wix, Weebly, Showit, and Squarespace. If your site is on one of these platforms, it can be optimized.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract? No. I don’t do contracts. Your first invoice is our agreement. The only commitment I require is 90 days minimum — because that’s what it takes to get real data on what SEO is doing for your business. After that, it’s month to month.
How does payment work? Monthly and upfront. I take credit card, PayPal, ACH, or a check in the mail — whatever is easiest for you.
I’ve tried SEO before and it didn’t work. Tell me what you tried and how long you gave it. Most SEO that fails either ran out of time before it had a chance to work, was focused on the wrong things, or wasn’t done correctly in the first place. That’s exactly the conversation the discovery call is for.
What does the monthly work actually look like? It depends on your site and what it needs — which is why I start with a custom proposal. No two clients get the same work plan, and what I do in month one may look different from month six. You’ll know exactly what’s included before you commit.
